About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Pasadena, Texas (North Channel FSED, Houston, TX). The assignment begins 11/02/2026 and lasts 13 weeks. The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting, performing various procedures and assessments while ensuring patient safety and comfort, and collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team to provide exceptional care to patients with varying acuity levels.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient assessments and evaluations.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform IV starts and blood draws.
• Assist with moderate sedation procedures and manage splinting.
• Monitor and interpret bedside cardiac monitoring.
• Participate in patient education and advocacy.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of Texas.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
• BLS (Basic Life Support).
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course).
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention).
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale).
