Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Emergency Department assignment in Carlsbad, New Mexico.
About the role
This 13-week travel assignment starts on September 21, 2026, with a 36-hour work week on 12-hour night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgement, and leadership in patient care
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
- Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
- Direct and supervise assigned personnel
- Apply knowledge of nursing process and clinical nursing practices
- Administer medications and monitor side effects
- Document patient care with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Adhere to safety standards, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in the Emergency Department
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications (required)
- NRP certification (preferred)
Certifications
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)

Pay
Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems for eligible clinicians based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual weekly pay and per diems may differ and may be subject to change during an assignment.
