Travel Emergency Dept RN - $1,990 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Lander, Wyoming. The assignment starts 11/02/2026 and lasts 13 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse team to evaluate, triage and implement care per physician instructions.
• Perform minor medical operations and advise patients/family on illnesses or injuries.
• Plan long‑term care needs.
• Document medical history and check for allergies.
• Obtain patient vital signs and monitor emotional and physical well‑being.
• Provide basic bedside care, clean and bandage wounds, administer IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
• Stand, walk, bend, lean and stoop for extended periods; lift up to 20 lb routinely and up to 50 lb when moving patients.
• Cope with stress and relate to patients of all ages and backgrounds.

Requirements

• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP certifications.
• Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience (1‑2 years preferred).
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

12‑hour night shifts, 36 hours per week.
