Travel Emergency Dept RN - $1,980 per week

About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Edinburg, Texas. The assignment begins 10/26/2026, lasts 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts (1 PM – 1 AM).

Responsibilities

• Administer patient care and medications as prescribed.
• Provide triage and prioritize patient needs effectively.
• Conduct and assist in various emergency procedures including, but not limited to, splinting, moderate sedation, and chest tube insertion.
• Coordinate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient information accurately in the ED EMR - Meditech system.

Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications.
• Proficiency in Meditech system.
• Strong triage skills.

Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Experience in Level 1 and 2 trauma center settings.
• Ability to assist in obstetric deliveries in the emergency room.
• Familiarity with rapid sequence intubation techniques.
• Proficiency in setting up for mechanical ventilation.
• Strong team dynamics and effective communication skills.
• Comfortable in a team nursing environment.
