ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department at Wilson Medical Center in Wilson, North Carolina. This is a 13-week contract position starting November 1, 2026.

The emergency unit has 26 beds with flexible patient ratios ranging from 1:4 to 1:5 depending on acuity. Typical patient populations include geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients presenting with conditions such as respiratory distress, overdose, congestive heart failure, dialysis needs, and hypertension. The unit utilizes Meditech for electronic health records and is equipped with GE monitors and standard emergency department equipment.

Schedule

• Day shift: 07:00–19:00 (12-hour shifts)
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend hours required every other weekend

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician’s orders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Document all patient interactions and care processes accurately in Meditech

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department (ED)
• Valid Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
