Travel Emergency Department RN - $1,980 per week

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team in Galax, VA. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical care skills and have experience in an emergency setting, providing high-quality care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced environment. This is a 13‑week travel contract requiring 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to patients with diverse medical conditions.
• Perform assessments, triage patients, and implement care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to improve patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments in care.

Requirements

• Active RN license in Virginia.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency or critical care setting.
• Required certifications: AHA‑ACLS, BLS, CPI/HWC, PALS, TNCC, ENPC.

Schedule
