About the role

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive patient care in a medical facility specializing in trauma, stroke, and chest pain. The nurse will uphold high standards for patient safety and quality service while working efficiently within a team of healthcare professionals.

Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• No on-call required
• No floating to other units

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs
• Provide emergency response and care for trauma, stroke, and chest pain patients
• Maintain effective communication with patients and families regarding care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
• Document patient care and interventions using EMR (MEDHOST)

Requirements

• Active RN licensure
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications (AHA or ARC)
• At least 2 years of nursing experience preferred
• Strong background in trauma, stroke, and chest pain patient care
• Current titers must be submitted at the time of application
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Preferred travel experience

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
