About the role
VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a 13-week contract at HCA HealthONE Presbyterian St. Luke's in Denver, Colorado.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care in a busy hospital emergency department
- Perform port access, IV start, venipuncture, nasal wash, and point of care testing
- Manage patient care with a patient ratio of 4:1, with surge capacity up to 5:1
- Utilize GE monitors and Meditech EMR system to monitor and document patient information
- Assist with procedures such as Foley placements and EKGs
- Communicate effectively with team members and patients, demonstrating caring and active engagement
- Adhere to unit policies, guidelines, and safety protocols
