Travel Emergency Dept RN - $1,555 per week

About the Role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department (ED) in San Antonio, Texas. This is a 13-week contract position with a 12-hour night shift schedule (15:00 - 03:00).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in an adult emergency setting.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and established protocols.
• Manage airway and respiratory procedures such as oxygen administration and intubation support.
• Perform nursing assessments, including trauma assessments and neurological checks.
• Participate in trauma resuscitation and critical care protocols, including massive transfusions and STEMI alerts.
• Ensure proper documentation of patient care in Meditech EMR.
• Coordinate transfers and educate patients on care plans.

Requirements

• Current RN license in Texas.
• ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC, ENPC, NIH certifications required.
• Experience in an emergency or trauma setting preferred.
• Expertise with Meditech EMR.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Dedicated and energetic Registered Nurse with experience in caring for an acute population.
• Well-versed in emergency care protocols.
