About the role
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) for travel assignments.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, triage, and implement patient care in a fast-paced emergency environment.
- Perform medical procedures such as wound care, IV therapy, and minor operations.
- Document medical histories, monitor vital signs, and advise patients and families on illnesses and injuries.
- Maintain supplies and equipment, and report suspected abuse.
- Provide compassionate bedside care, support patients emotionally and physically, and assist with long-term care planning.
Qualifications & Skills
- 1-2 years recent acute care experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP certifications
- Additional certifications as required
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong stress management skills
- Excellent interpersonal abilities across diverse patient populations
