Travel Emergency Department RN - $2,541 per week

About the Role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in the Emergency Department at a healthcare facility in Augusta, Georgia. This position is for 13 weeks starting on 08/24/2026, with a schedule of 48 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with various types of illness or trauma requiring emergency attention, and recognize and effectively treat life-threatening conditions.
• Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Demonstrate knowledge about general and specific health issues due to the range of medical conditions requiring urgent treatment.
• Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including both physical and mental health conditions.

Requirements

• Active RN License.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications may be required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.
• Additional requirements to be determined by the client facility.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Weekly payment estimates include a gross estimate of hourly wages and reimbursements for meal, incidental, and housing expenses.
