About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Martinsville, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Serves all ages.
- Works 36 hours per week on a 12-hour shift, evenings.
- Supervised by Jessica Tate, Director of Emergency Services.
- Uses Medhost EHR system.
- Handles patient ratios of 1:5.
- Works in a facility with 34 beds.
Requirements
- Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in at least one state.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current BLS certification.
Qualifications
- Experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- Knowledge of emergency department protocols and procedures.
Skills
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
