About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for an 8-week travel assignment in Torrance, CA. Candidates must be prepared to deliver immediate, life-saving care to critically injured patients with complex trauma in a fast-paced metropolitan Level 1 Trauma ER environment. Interviews are being conducted ASAP.
Responsibilities
- Provide immediate, life-saving care to critically injured patients with complex trauma, often managing multiple high-acuity cases simultaneously.
- Demonstrate advanced clinical skills, quick decision-making, and close collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team in a fast-paced Level 1 Trauma ER environment.
- Perform diagnostic and clinical nursing interventions in alignment with facility standards and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Level 1 Trauma ER experience in a metropolitan facility with a diverse patient population.
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- NIHSS, MAB or CPI certification.
- LA City Fire and Life Safety card (must be LA City certified).
- Completion of the LA County Employee Health Clearance and Live Scan fingerprinting prior to assignment start.

Pay
$2,071.88 – $2,437.50 per week (based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week).
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts, days and nights, rotating.
- 3 shifts per week.
