MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Damariscotta, Maine.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients from various types of illness or trauma requiring emergency attention.
• Recognize and effectively treat life-threatening conditions.
• Intervene and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Understand and properly apply triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients, including both physical and mental health conditions.

Requirements

• Active RN License
• Accredited nursing program degree
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
