Travel Emergency Department RN - $2,281 per week

About the Role

Travel nursing position in the Emergency Department at Ottumwa Regional Health Center in Ottumwa, Iowa. This is a 13-week assignment with a 36-hour work week, primarily night shifts (12 hours). The facility accommodates 36 or 48-hour guarantees—candidates should specify preference upon submission.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in a 17-bed ED with a 1:6 patient ratio (approximately 40 visits per day).
• Cover daily volume and 24/7 call requirements as needed.
• Float to other units as required by the facility.

Requirements

• Active Iowa SING background check (criminal and child abuse portions) with no exceptions.
• All background checks (county and state) must be fully cleared prior to start—no instant or statewide searches accepted.
• Mandatory reporter certification (child and adult).
• 10-panel drug screening including opiates.
• Titers from the last 12 months (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB).
• 1–2 years of experience in an acute care facility.
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, TNCC.
• Preferred experience: travel nursing and similar-sized facilities.

Pay
