Travel Emergency Department RN - $2,292 per week
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse for an Emergency Department assignment in Omaha, Nebraska.
About the Role
This is a travel nursing position with one of our top healthcare clients. The assignment starts on 09/14/2026, lasts 13 weeks, and requires 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients with various types of illness or trauma requiring emergency attention.
- Recognize and effectively treat life-threatening conditions with decisive action.
- Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses.
- Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
- Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including both physical and mental health conditions.
- Be knowledgeable about general and specific health issues relevant to emergency care.
Requirements
- Active RN License.
- Degree from an accredited nursing program.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications may be required.
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.
- Additional requirements to be determined by the client facility.
