Aside from typical ED RN duties, typical procedures performed on the unit include:

• Splinting
• Breathing treatments

Requirements

• Prior ED experience (required)
• Stroke and STEMI experience (preferred)
• Trauma experience (preferred)
• Pediatrics experience (preferred)

Qualifications

Required certifications:

• ACLS
• BLS
• PALS
• TNCC
• NIH
• ENPC

• Number of beds: 20 headwall, 4 halls
• Number of staff: 50
• Type of staff (night shift): Charge RN, Flow Coordinator, RN, ED Tech, US
• Patient ratios: 4:1
• Equipment: Lucas, Level 1, Alaris IV pumps, I stat, EPOC, GE monitors
• EMR: EPIC
