Travel Emergency Department RN - $2,235 per week

About the role

Travel nurse RN position in the Emergency Department (ED) in Conroe, Texas. Start date: October 26, 2026; duration: 13 weeks; schedule: 36 hours per week (12‑hour evening shifts). Employment type: Travel. The role requires 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse team to evaluate, triage, and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions.
• Provide care for patients in a fast‑paced, urgent, emergency environment.
• Perform minor medical operations.
• Advise patients and families on illnesses or injuries.
• Plan long‑term care needs.
• Document medical history and check for allergies.
• Obtain patient vital signs and monitor emotional and physical well‑being.
• Provide basic bedside care, clean and bandage wounds, administer IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
• Stand and walk for extended periods; bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
• Lift up to 20 pounds routinely; patient handling may require lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Cope with stress and relate to patients of all ages and backgrounds.

Requirements

• Current RN license.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC, CPI certifications.
• At least 1 year of recent acute care experience (1‑2 years preferred).
• Additional certifications may be required
