Travel Emergency Department RN - $2,235 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Kingwood, Texas. This is a 13‑week travel assignment requiring 36 hours per week on 12‑hour evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse team to evaluate, triage, and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions.
• Provide basic bedside care, clean and bandage wounds, administer IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Document medical history, check for allergies, obtain vital signs, and monitor patients’ emotional and physical well‑being.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
• Advise patients and family on illnesses or injuries and plan long‑term care needs.
• Perform minor medical operations as needed.

Qualifications

• 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI certifications (additional certifications may be required before assignment).
