Travel Emergency Department RN - $2,197 per week

About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED – Emergency Department for an 18-week assignment in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The position offers 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with a wide range of illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention and recognize and effectively treat life-threatening conditions.
• Assess, intervene, and stabilize trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Demonstrate knowledge of general and specific health issues relevant to emergency care.
• Apply triage principles to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC may be required in some positions.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.
