This position offers the opportunity to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, providing critical care and support to patients in need. General Information Unit Name: Emergency Department Number of Beds: 101 Typical Patient Ratios: 4:1; up to 7:1 for behavioral health holds Type of Equipment: Baxter pumps, GE monitors Documentation System: Cerner Uniform: Navy scrubs required Scheduling Requirements Must work every other weekend Flexible scheduling based on departmental needs Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency setting Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Provide coaching and real-time feedback to peers Adaptability to work within various sections of the Emergency Department Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an Emergency Room setting Experience in a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center preferred Ability to demonstrate teamwork and effective communication skills Required Certifications: ACLS BLS PALS TNCC CPI NIHSS ENPC (within 90 days of hire) Additional Information This department is well-known for its strong teamwork and welcoming environment.
