Travel Emergency Department RN - $1,813 per week
About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for providing high-quality care to patients in the Emergency Room by utilizing the Nursing Process according to the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. This role requires critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assessing patients and developing care plans based on established clinical practices.
- Implementing and evaluating patient care effectively and safely.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure desired patient outcomes.
- Maintaining clinical competencies through ongoing education and training.
- Providing direction and supervision to nursing personnel delivering patient care.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting.
- At least 2 previous travel assignments completed successfully.
- Current ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required.
- ESI Level 5 training required; TNCC is preferred.
- Cerner EMR experience is preferred.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
Skills
- Strong critical thinking and scientific judgment skills.
- Effective collaboration and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in Cerner EMR (preferred).

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
