Emergency Room Nurses (RN) treat a variety of injuries and illnesses brought into the Emergency Room. They specialize in rapid assessment and treatment when every second counts.

Responsibilities

• Rapid assessment and treatment of patients in emergency situations
• Triage and prioritize patient care based on severity of condition
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatments
• Operate and monitor medical equipment
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
