Travel Emergency Department RN - $1,754 per week

Join our dynamic Emergency Department team known for its teamwork and dedication to serving a diverse community. Our dept has a high patient volume and is committed to providing excellent care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support patient needs.
• Perform nursing assessments, administer medications, and document patient care in the Cerner system.
• Absorb in the triage process, ensuring that patients receive timely care.
• Participate in training and mentoring junior staff and nursing students.
• Uphold patient safety and quality standards as demonstrated by hospital recognition.

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an emergency department setting.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI before hire, NIHSS within hire period, and ENPC within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current CPR certification.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
