About the Role
ARMStaffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department team on a travel assignment in Houston, Texas. This is a 13-week contract position on the night shift (7 PM - 7 AM). The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment, ensuring efficient emergency response and excellent patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and implement care plans
- Perform emergency procedures including intubation and central line placement
- Monitor and manage ventilators and IV pumps
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records using Meditech Expanse EMR
Requirements
- Active RN license
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS or ENPC certifications
- Strong patient experience and emergency response skills
- TNCC certification preferred
