Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse - $2,301 per week
About the role
The Registered Nurse will provide care in a Level III Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency nursing for both adult and pediatric patients and experience in managing critical conditions.
Responsibilities
- Assess and manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure.
- Provide care for various conditions including CVA, neuro-trauma, and traumatic brain injuries.
- Administer blood products and manage central lines.
- Perform phlebotomy and start IVs, including continuous IV sedation and IV vasopressors.
- Identify and report abuse or neglect, and manage infections and respiratory conditions.
- Care for ventilated patients and manage trauma cases such as gunshot wounds and traumatic amputations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an Emergency Department setting required.
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.
- Must have a valid New York RN license in hand to submit.
- Experience with charting systems, particularly EPIC, is mandatory.

Schedule
Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
