About the role
NuWest Travel Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an ED - Emergency Department position in Paramus, New Jersey.
Responsibilities
- Triage patients based on severity of illness or injury
- Perform initial assessments and provide emergency care
- Administer medications and treatments as necessary
- Document patient encounters and treatments accurately
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in New Jersey
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in emergency department setting preferred
Qualifications
- Passing score on the NCLEX-RN exam
- At least one year of acute care experience
