Travel Electrophysiology Technician - $2,480 per week
Job Summary
Electrophysiology (EP) Specialist in Savannah, Georgia. This role involves working in a specialized electrophysiology unit within a tertiary care hospital, focusing on complex cardiac ablation procedures, pacemaker and implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) implants and removals, and lead extractions. The position offers a dynamic work environment with a focus on high-volume studies and advanced technology.
Job Details
- Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week with late stay
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or RTR (Registered Radiologic Technologist) or RCIS (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certifications
- Critical Care or EP experience
- ACLS & BLS certifications
- At least 1 year of clinical experience related to electrophysiology procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ablation, pacemaker placement, and removal procedures
Additional Information
- Dress code includes navy blue and black uniforms for RNs, and royal blue and black uniforms for technicians
- The unit is equipped with Boston Scientific, BioSense Webster Carto, Medtronic, and Baylis/VersaCross systems
- Involves high-volume case load, participation in field studies, and the use of new equipment and technology
- The facility is a 612-bed hospital with specialized services including trauma, children's care, and stroke center accreditation
