Job Summary

The Electro Physiology Lab (EP Lab) Technologist position in Asheville, North Carolina involves supporting cardiac electrophysiology procedures in a dedicated EP lab environment. The candidate will assist with data collection, equipment operation, and procedural support within a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, 40 hours per week, starting on 08/31/2026

Required Qualifications

• RN license

Preferred Qualifications

• RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist)
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
• RT (R) (Radiologic Technologist)
• Experience in EP lab procedures preferred
• Certified in ACLS and BLS

Additional Information

• Float rotation may be required
• On-call requirement: 2 days every 6 weeks, Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
• Unit features 3 beds with 17 staff members
• Typical procedures include ablations, device implantations such as Watchman, Loop Recorders
• Equipment used includes X-ray, PACS, Cardio Lab systems, Istat, Carto, Arrhythmia monitors, Cryo ablation tools, and electronic medical records (Cerner)
• Dress code: Surgical green scrubs

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
