Travel Electrophysiology Cath Lab Technologist - $3,153 per week
About the role
The Electrophysiology Technician will work in the cath lab focusing on various electrophysiology procedures including pacemaker and defibrillator implants, ablations, and other related assessments. The technician will manage a daily case load of 8-10 patients and must be competent in all aspects of Cath Lab Diagnostic and Intervention.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrophysiology monitoring and support during procedures.
- Absorb and assist in the implantation of devices such as pacemakers and defibrillators.
- Conduct electrophysiology evaluations and mapping procedures.
- Maintain sterile techniques and facilitate smooth procedures in the cath lab.
- Utilize 3D imaging and fluoroscopy as required.
- Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and respond accordingly.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in an Electrophysiology or Cath Lab setting is required.
- Must possess an active West Virginia license and be ARRT registered.
- ACLS certification is required.
- Experience with fluoroscopy and electrophysiology equipment including CARTO and ESI preferred.
- Previous charge experience is a plus.

Pay
Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
This is a 13-week contract position with a Day 4x10 hour schedule from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. No weekends, holidays, or on-call shifts required.
