Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical work for residential solar installations
  • Install service equipment, disconnects, inverters, and related electrical components
  • Complete service panel upgrades and electrical modifications as needed
  • Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide solutions in the field
  • Perform final electrical inspections and quality checks before project completion
  • Maintain accurate job documentation and communicate project updates
  • Partner with Install Managers and field crews to complete projects safely and efficiently
  • Represent SpartanX professionally while interacting with homeowners

Requirements

  • Journeyman Electrician license preferred
  • Residential electrical experience required
  • Residential solar experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Experience with service upgrades, load-side and supply-side connections, and residential electrical systems
  • Ability to read electrical plans and diagrams
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to travel extensively and work in multiple states
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and on rooftops when necessary
