About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel EEG Technologist for a travel job in Salem, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Perform Neurodiagnostic recording procedures on Neonates, Pediatric and Adult patients.
- Directly correspond with neurologists and epileptologists regarding abnormal findings on the EEG to efficiently assist in patient diagnosis and management.
- Collect documents, review patient medical histories, and relay important factors to supervising physicians.
- Schedule requirements: 8am-4:30pm M-F, Rotating Weekday evening call 4pm-10pm, Rotating Weekend call Sat/Sun 7am-11pm.
- Use EEG equipment – Nihon Kohden, neuro work bench.
Requirements
- Registered EEG
- One year recent - Knowledge & experience performing Neurodiagnostic recording procedures on Neonates, Pediatric and Adult patients.
Qualifications
Must have:
- Knowledge & experience performing Neurodiagnostic recording procedures on Neonates, Pediatric and Adult patients.
- Directly correspond with neurologists and epileptologists regarding abnormal findings on the EEG to efficiently assist in patient diagnosis and management.
