EEG Technologist Registered in the outpatient setting. This position involves performing routine and ambulatory electroencephalogram (EEG) studies, including on-call rotation, with a focus on accurate electrode application, data acquisition, and ensuring patient safety. The role emphasizes communication, organizational ability, and proficiency with neurodiagnostic procedures, working independently during evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Performing routine and ambulatory EEG studies
• Conducting on-call rotation
• Accurate electrode application
• Data acquisition
• Ensuring patient safety
• Maintaining EEG recordings
• Troubleshooting equipment
• Monitoring data quality
• Performing seizure response testing
• Mentoring students
• Acting as a liaison between nurses and physicians

Requirements

• Current registration as an EEG Technologist or equivalent certification
• Minimum associate degree in Applied Science or related science
• BLS certification
• EEG registry required
• 1 year of experience
• Ability to perform electrode application and neurodiagnostic testing
