Travel EEG Technologist - $1,710 per week

Job Summary

The EEG Technologist Registered position is located in Edison, New Jersey. This role involves performing standard and complex neurodiagnostic procedures, specifically electroencephalograms (EEGs), for a diverse patient population including pediatric and adult patients. The position supports the departments goals and development of new programs within the Neurodiagnostic Lab and Epilepsy Unit, with a focus on quality patient care and technical expertise.

Job Details

• Shift: Days, 8 hours shift, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Schedule: 5 days per week, with weekends and holidays as needed.
• On call required.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience performing inpatient and outpatient EEG procedures.
• Must have both inpatient and outpatient EEG experience.
• Certifications: AHA Basic Health Care Life Support (HCP) Certification.
• Eligible for American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) registration.
• Education: High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), or equivalent; Associate's Degree in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Natus and Nihon Kohden systems.
• Knowledge of EEG procedures across pediatric and adult patients.

Additional Information

• Candidates must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills, ability to follow verbal instructions, and working knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft or Google productivity suite.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
