Travel EEG Technologist - $1,695 per week
Job Summary
The job opportunity is for a Registered Electroencephalography (EEG) Technician in Anchorage, Alaska. This role involves working in an acute hospital environment with a focus on ambulatory EEG procedures, level I trauma, and long-term monitoring. The candidate will support inpatient and outpatient EEG readings, collaborate with neuro providers, and perform specialized procedures within a dynamic clinical setting.
Job Details
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, three days per week, with variable hours.
Required Qualifications
- Valid State License (pending license acceptable with a 10-12 week processing time)
- BLS certification
- 2 years of relevant experience
Certifications
- BLS
- R.EEGT
Experience
- 2 years of experience in EEG technology, including adult ICU, ambulatory EEG, ECI brain death, electrode placement, EMG, level I trauma, long-term and video monitoring, NICU, PICU, portable recording, seizure studies, sleep-deprived EEG, sleep EEG, portable recording ICU, and NICU/PICU units.
Additional Responsibilities
- Support for specialized procedures
- Coverage for holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
- Willingness to work in a hospital setting that may involve float requirements within scope
Vaccinations
