Job Summary

This position involves overseeing and performing complex sleep studies, including CPAP and BiPAP titrations, to ensure high-quality sleep recordings. The role requires maintaining compliance with established standards and generating detailed reports for physician review. The position offers an opportunity to work at multiple sleep lab locations, with on-the-job training provided for electronic medical record systems.

Job Details

  • Location: Detroit, MI

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 10 hours per shift, four days a week, from 7:30 PM to 6:30 AM

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.

  • Registration as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) through the Board of Registered Polomnographic Technicians (BRPT)

  • BCLS Certification

  • Ability to score sleep reliability according to HFHS Sleep Center Guidelines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with pediatric patients (starting at age 5)

  • Scientific coursework related to sleep technology

  • Experience with sleep study procedures, scoring, and troubleshooting

Additional Information

  • Candidate must possess strong computer skills

  • Knowledge of sleep study procedures

  • Certification in BLS
