Travel nursing assignment in Hartford, Connecticut for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department (ED). Assignment starts 08/16/2026, lasts 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts.
About the Role
MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency, is seeking a quality Registered Nurse - Emergency Room for a travel assignment with one of our top healthcare clients. Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients with various types of illness or trauma requiring emergency attention and recognize and effectively treat life-threatening conditions.
- Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
- Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
- Make quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients, including both physical and mental health conditions.
- Be knowledgeable about general as well as specific health issues relevant to emergency care.
Requirements
- Active RN License.
- Degree from accredited nursing program.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC may be required in some positions.
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.
- Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.
