Travel nurse RN position in the Emergency Department at a facility in Slidell, Louisiana. Start date: October 5, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Employment type: Travel. Required to reside more than 65 miles from the facility and not have been employed by any Ochsner facility within the past year.

Requirements

• Education: Required – graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Preferred – Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of RN experience.
• Certifications: Required – current RN license in state of practice, Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); Preferred – certification in clinical specialty area.

Schedule

Shift: 12‑hour days, 36 hours per week.
