Travel ED RN - $2,111 per week

About the role

We're looking for Emergency Room RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Brick, NJ. The right RN should have 1-2 years recent acute care experience. As an ER Travel Nurse, you will work with a diverse team of caregivers to appropriately evaluate, triage and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement patient care according to physician instructions
• Perform minor medical operations
• Advise patients and family on illnesses or injuries
• Plan long-term care needs
• Document medical history
• Check for patient allergies
• Obtain and monitor vital signs
• Monitor patients' emotional and physical well-being
• Provide basic bedside care
• Clean and bandage wounds
• Provide IV therapy
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies

Requirements

• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• NIH certification
• PALS certification
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (or as specified)
• 1-2 years recent acute care experience

Qualifications

Emergency Room RN with experience in a fast‑paced, urgent care environment.

Skills

• Able to stand and walk for long periods
• Capable of bending, leaning, and stooping without difficulty
• Able to lift 20 pounds routinely; patient lifting may require up to 50 pounds
• Strong stress‑coping abilities
• Ability to relate to patients of all ages and backgrounds

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

12‑hour night shifts, 36 hours per week.
