Travel ED Observation RN - $2,171 per week

About the role

Access Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a 15-week assignment in Salem, Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Read tele strips
• Assessment, documentation, IV, phlebotomy, EKG, Cardiac Monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking and patient education
• Clinician to Patient Ratio: 4:1 or 5:1 depend on unit needs
• Treatment of adult patients in an observation unit with 16 beds
• Use of EMR systems: Epic, Asap and Clin doc
• Floating and rotating shifts required
• AHA ACLS, PALS certifications required
• Active MA RN license required

Requirements

• 2+ years working in one location
• 2 years working as a Traveler

Qualifications

• General ED nursing skills including but not limited to: Assessment, documentation, IV, phlebotomy, EKG, Cardiac Monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking and patient education

Skills

• AHA ACLS, PALS
• Active MA RN License

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

12 hours, nights shift.
