Travel ED Observation RN - $2,171 per week
About the role
Access Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a 15-week assignment in Salem, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
- Read tele strips
- Night shift, 36 hours per week
- 4:1 or 5:1 clinician to patient ratio depending on unit needs
- Treatment of adult patients in a 16-bed observation unit
- Use of Epic, Asap and Clin doc EMR systems
- Floating and rotating shifts required
- AHA ACLS, PALS certifications required
- Active MA RN license required
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience working in one location
- 2 years of experience as a traveler
Qualifications
- General ED nursing skills including assessment, documentation, IV, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking, and patient education
Skills
- AHA ACLS
- PALS
Benefits
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
