MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse - Emergency Room for a travel assignment in Charleston, West Virginia. The assignment starts 10/29/2026, lasts 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts. Emergency Room registered nurses provide care for patients with various illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention and must recognize and effectively treat life‑threatening conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assess, intervene and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Recognize and effectively treat life‑threatening conditions.
• Maintain knowledge of general and specific health issues relevant to emergency care.
• Understand and apply triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required depending on the position.
• Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care emergency room setting.
• Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility.

Skills

• Emergency department nursing expertise.
