Travel ED Holding Unit RN - $1,870 per week

About the role

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Charleston, West Virginia. The assignment starts October 29, 2026 and lasts approximately 13 weeks (13.14 weeks). The position is for 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts.

Schedule

Shift: 12‑hour nights, 36 hours per week. Assignment duration: 13 weeks (approximately 13.14 weeks). Start date: October 29, 2026.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years RN experience required.
• At least 1 year of specialty (ED) experience.
• Cerner experience required.
• Preferred: MS/Tele, Telemetry and ER Holding experience.
• IV therapy/phlebotomy skills: accessing ports, blood product administration, peripheral line care/management, starting IV.
• Medications knowledge: Heparin protocols, managing cardiac drips (no titration).
• Neurological/psychiatric experience: CVA, seizure disorders, substance withdrawal.
• Respiratory/thoracic skills: external CPAP/BiPAP, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tank; non‑invasive airway management; care of ventilated patients & tracheostomy management (preferred).
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (must be American Heart Association), CPI.
• Licensure: WV or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted only if active WV/Compact license in hand at submission.
• Minimum two manager and/or charge nurse references from the past 2 years.
• SSN and DOB required at time of submission.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI must be scheduled/obtained >1 week before start.
• Flu shot required (medical exemptions only) from October 1 – March 31.
• Former permanent employees must wait 2 years from last permanent employment before returning as a traveler.
• Candidates must have a permanent address ≥100 miles from the facility; those 75‑100 miles may be considered case‑by‑case at the same rate.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
