Schedule

  • Evenings, 8 hours shift, Monday through Friday, minimum of 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

  • Certification in Basic Life Support (American Heart Association approved)
  • registration or licensure in Ultrasonography (Ultra Echo)
  • at least 0 years of clinical experience
  • must have Level I Trauma experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience performing transesophageal studies
  • proficiency with echocardiographic equipment
  • ability to work independently

Job Details

The Ultrasonographer Echo (Ultrasound Technician) position is located in Temple, TX. This role involves performing basic to intermediate cardiac ultrasound services, including transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms for adult patients. The technologist will prepare equipment, assist physicians, review images, and ensure quality diagnostics in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Job Summary

The role requires performing complex cardiac ultrasound procedures, assisting in procedures with physicians, sterilizing equipment, maintaining the echocardiography lab, and adhering to quality standards. The technician will interact with healthcare providers to deliver accurate diagnostic data, ensure proper infection control, and comply with confidentiality laws.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
