Travel Diagnostic Radiology Technologist - $2,378 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Omaha, Nebraska. The position offers 40 hours per week, 10-hour shifts, and is classified as a travel job.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain imaging procedures to patients
• Provide reassurance and support to patients
• Follow orders from physicians regarding imaging procedures
• Correctly position patients and adjust imaging equipment
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure to both patients and self
• Calibrate imaging equipment
• Prepare results for physician review
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Use McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist
• BLS certification
• ARRT (R) National Certification
• State-specific licensing when required
• Solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Qualifications

• ARRT (R)
• BLS
• 2 years of experience

Skills

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Bending, leaning, and stooping without difficulty
