Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Cytotechnologist for a 13‑week assignment in Albany, New York. Specialty: Cytotechnologist; Discipline: Allied Health Professional; Employment Type: Travel. Responsibilities

• Perform cytological screening and prepare samples in a healthcare laboratory setting.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory standards and quality protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation and transfer of information in the professional profile.
• Participate in float rotation as required.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of cytology experience (5 years preferred).
• Current American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Board Certification as a Cytotechnologist or Cytologist.
• Valid New York State Cytotechnologist or Cytologist license.
• Current proof of passing Papanicolaou (Pap) test proficiency testing for this calendar year, or scheduled PT testing.
• Submission of a complete professional profile for consideration.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8‑hour day shifts.
• Shift options: 07:30–15:30 or 08:00–16:00.
• Minimum 40 hours per week.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
