About the role
Start Date: 10/05/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Employment Type: Travel. The Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (PCICU) RN will provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients with congenital heart disease and related conditions. This role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage critically ill pediatric patients with congenital heart disease.
- Administer medications and perform medical procedures related to cardiac care.
- Provide post-operative care following cardiac surgeries.
- Utilize advanced technologies and equipment such as ECMO and CRRT.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create and implement care plans.
- Educate families about care processes and assist with emotional support.
Requirements
- 2 years of Pediatric Cardiac ICU experience is required.
- Current SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license is required.
- Certifications in PALS and BLS are mandatory (AHA accepted).
- ACLS certification highly preferred.
- Experience with Ventricular Assist Devices (VAD) is advantageous.

Schedule
Night shifts: 3x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (36 hours per week).
