Travel CVOR Technologist - $2,409 per week

Travel CVOR Technologist position in Salem, Virginia. Start date: October 12, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Schedule: 40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts. Employment type: Travel.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of experience as a Surgical Technologist in an acute care setting.
• High School Diploma or completion of an accredited Operating Room Technologist course (or equivalent training).
• Current BLS certification and National Certification required.
• Ability to demonstrate dexterity in the use of surgical instruments and knowledge of step‑by‑step procedures for various surgical cases.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinical staff by performing support functions to facilitate delivery of surgical/procedural services and provide patient care for comfort, hygiene, and simple treatments.
• Prepare operating rooms in a timely manner for surgical procedures.
• Participate as a team member, performing additional assignments as workload or specialty demands.
• Perform duties under the direct supervision of the registered nurse circulator; delegate and supervise tasks when applicable to ensure optimum patient care.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, unit staff, business office, and medical records to maintain continuity of patient care and meet customer needs.
