Travel CVOR Technologist - $1,990 per week

About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a 13-week contract at a short-term acute care facility in Charleston, West Virginia. The operating room has 14 rooms with an average daily census of approximately 25 cases. The position involves scrubbing and circulating during various cardiac and general surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate during CVOR procedures, including but not limited to Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Carotid Endarterectomy, and Coronary Artery Bypass Graft.
• Prepare the operating room by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and functioning.
• Document equipment and procedures according to facility standards.
• Assist the surgical team in maintaining a sterile environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a CVOR setting.
• Experience in general and laparoscopic surgery preferred.
• Current OR Tech license (WV/Compact accepted).
• NBSTSA certification required.
• BLS certification required.

Schedule

3x12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, with occasional weeknight call from 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM and on-call responsibility for one weekend per month. Total 36 hours per week.

Pay

Pay package based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
