About the Role
Perform surgical procedures in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting. Assist with complex surgeries and manage sterile techniques.
Responsibilities
- Perform abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, aortic aneurysm repair, aortobifemoral bypass, aortocaval fistula repair, aortoenteric fistula repair, arteriovenous fistula repair, arteriovenous malformation surgery, aseptic technique, atherectomy, care of scopes & fiber optic equipment, carotid angioplasty, carotid artery stenting, carotid endarterectomy, case cart, CVOR, electrosurgical units, endovascular aneurysm repair, femoral popliteal bypass graft, fire safety, general OR, isolation precautions/PPE, laparoscopic assisted cases, laparoscopic cardiac surgery, radiation safety, sharps safety, specimen handling/labeling, universal protocol (time out) procedure, vein stripping and other related surgical procedures.
- Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of surgical instruments and equipment.
- Assist surgeons during operations, including positioning patients, passing instruments, and monitoring patient vital signs.
- Follow universal precautions and infection control protocols.
- Participate in preoperative and postoperative patient care, including documentation and communication with other healthcare providers.
Requirements
- 2.0 years of relevant surgical experience.
- BLS certification.
- Current license to practice in the state of Georgia.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a surgical technology program or equivalent training.
- Knowledge of surgical procedures and techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.

$2,225.00 to $2,413.80 weekly
Schedule
5x8-Hour 06:00 - 14:30
